Reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine

Have you been listening to talk radio?  There you will learn that health reform- and the entire Obama agenda- is:

We laugh at freepers but they are in control of the radio dial.

It started with "socialist," but it did not end there.  There has been a progressive upping of the extremist language on radio including calls for seccession, militias, and threats of violence.  The hosts, when they are not suggesting violence themselves, act as the reasonable person trying to calm down the irate caller, made irate by the hosts calling reform, and all of a Democratic agenda, a loss of liberty.  The shows consist of one angry caller after another, all agreeing with the host, and if any callers that disagree are given short shrift and/or put up against a break.  That allows the hosts to say they take callers that disagree yet never engage them in conversation.

But the airwaves belong to the public, not extremists, and our voices are not being heard.
